Description

  • Provide strategic and operational oversight for assigned Medicaid Services EQR contracts and programs.
  • Serve as the senior relationship lead for state Medicaid agencies, managed care entities, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Direct project planning and execution across scope, staffing, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Lead, coach, and manage project managers and assigned staff, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and development.
  • Ensure deliverables are accurate, reviewed, compliant, and submitted on time.
  • Monitor budgets, labor utilization, staffing plans, and forecasts with Finance and executive leadership.
  • Identify, mitigate, and escalate operational, contractual, staffing, and customer risks.
  • Advise project teams on project design, data collection, analysis, quality review, training, technical assistance, and report development.
  • Improve standardized processes and coordinate cross-functional support for contract execution.
  • Lead or support proposals, presentations, scope development, pricing assumptions, and other business development activities.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, health services, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in Medicaid, managed care, healthcare quality, EQR, regulatory oversight, auditing, consulting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of management or supervisory experience overseeing complex projects, customer relationships, budgets, and staff performance.
  • Experience leading multiple contracts or large, complex initiatives through cross-functional teams and other leaders.
  • Experience with state Medicaid agencies, Medicaid managed care organizations, EQR activities, or related state and federal healthcare programs (preferred).
  • Experience supporting proposal development and business growth activities (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, judgment, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and stakeholder-management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Copilot, SharePoint, and other business software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and travel statewide or out of state as needed (generally less than 5%).
