Description

  • Own the localized experience for Brazilian Portuguese across the website, app, microbrands, and performance marketing channels.
  • Define, maintain, and improve style guides, terminology, tone, and linguistic standards for the market.
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to refine machine translation output, improve consistency, and identify recurring quality issues.
  • Conduct linguistic QA, including MT post-editing, content reviews, and in-app localization QA audits.
  • Drive SEO and ASO performance through keyword research, metadata optimization, and localized content improvements.
  • Create, adapt, and optimize localized marketing and UX copy to improve engagement and conversions.
  • Run A/B tests and use workflow improvements to support content optimization and growth.
  • Track language KPIs and performance metrics using analytics tools such as Looker.
  • Co-manage and mentor freelancers through feedback, guidance, and training.
  • Partner with Content, Product, Performance Marketing, and other teams to align localization priorities and execution.

Requirements

  • Full professional proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese (C2 or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of Brazilian cultural nuances and market context.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing translation, localization, or copywriting.
  • Solid SEO knowledge, preferably including keyword research and performance monitoring.
  • Experience working with TMS tools such as XTM, CMS platforms, and localization workflows.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting content performance metrics, preferably in Looker or similar tools.
  • Proven ability to drive market growth by optimizing language assets and workflows.
  • Strong communication and project-management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional processes.
