Description

  • Design a vision for a world-class clinical experience across the full clinician journey.
  • Own the clinical systems roadmap by defining priorities and success metrics with clinical, operations, and care teams.
  • Establish product governance by serving as the bridge between clinical stakeholders and engineering.
  • Evaluate AI and third-party tools by defining criteria and assessing build, configure, or buy options.
  • Measure the impact of initiatives using baseline and post-launch metrics such as time saved, administrative hours reduced, billed hours unlocked, and outcomes improved.
  • Optimize workflows within NextGen, including templates, task routing, and clinical documentation.
  • Design integrations that extend the EHR into the broader clinical ecosystem.
  • Scope and build net-new clinical tooling where no off-the-shelf solution exists.
  • Own the integration layer across Blueprint, NextGen, and custom-built surfaces so they function as a coherent system.
  • Build clinical safety into product decisions so speed of delivery does not compromise clinical integrity.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time in healthcare or clinical tools.
  • Preferred hands-on EHR experience with systems such as NextGen, Epic, AdvancedMD, or Athena.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems integration, including HL7, FHIR, and API-based integrations.
  • Ability to determine what should live natively in an EHR versus in an external layer.
  • Track record of building a product practice from scratch, including creating structure and earning trust.
  • Practical AI literacy with the ability to evaluate tools, assess clinical risk, and judge integration complexity.
  • Ability to quantify product benefits in terms of saved time, recovered hours, and improved throughput.
  • Direct clinical or clinical operations background preferred.
  • Behavioral health experience is a plus.
