Description

  • Build and ship the mobile app through TestFlight and other release channels.
  • Define the app architecture and determine what carries over from the existing web codebase and design system.
  • Implement end-to-end push notifications for exposure events and other urgent alerts.
  • Integrate anti-smishing and verification-code protection features into the app.
  • Own the build, release, and crash-reporting pipeline for mobile releases.
  • Partner with product, design, and security teams to turn goals into shipped features.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience building and maintaining mobile apps.
  • Strong native iOS development experience with Swift or Android experience with Kotlin.
  • Experience shipping mobile apps through the App Store and TestFlight.
  • Production experience with push notifications, background tasks, and real-world mobile edge cases.
  • Ability to own a codebase from architecture through releases and testing.
  • Security-minded approach to handling sensitive data and building secure products.
  • Experience with React Native / Expo (preferred).
  • Experience with device security signals, MDM, password managers, or identity verification tools (preferred).
  • Comfort making product and UX/UI decisions (preferred).
  • Familiarity with build and distribution infrastructure for internal iOS applications (preferred).
  • Experience sharing code between web and mobile apps and navigating the tradeoffs (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
