Description

Lead and develop engineering teams with a focus on high performance and individual growth.
Align technical direction with the company’s strategic and operational plans.
Partner with PMs, Designers, and other leaders to deliver technical solutions that meet business needs.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
Promote a collaborative environment with psychological safety and continuous feedback.
Define and guide technical strategies for the team’s domains, including engineering best practices such as Clean Code, TDD, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.
Participate in defining and tracking OKRs and technical metrics such as lead time, stability, and test coverage.
Encourage Inner Source initiatives, RFC usage, and living documentation practices.
Handle ambiguous problems and difficult prioritization while balancing delivery timelines and quality.
Ensure product and platform quality, scalability, and health through metric definition, collection, analysis, and monitoring.

Requirements

Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams using agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
Experience in robust and scalable architecture environments.
Strong experience leading teams with architectural standards, code design patterns, and well-documented coding conventions.
Experience with mobile development for Android and iOS.
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and the HTTP protocol.
Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
Strong knowledge of SOLID principles, Clean Code, and Design Patterns.
Experience with investigation, troubleshooting, telemetry, monitoring, observability, and system debugging.
Experience with software testing, including unit, integration, stress, mutation, and end-to-end tests.
Knowledge of databases, relational and non-relational modeling, caching strategies, and distributed processing.
Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automation.
Experience with technical and marketing metrics tools such as Firebase, Google Analytics, and Amplitude.
Experience managing a mobile platform for internal developer customers.
Experience leading experience or journey teams (preferred).
Experience leading teams responsible for Design System development (preferred).
Experience with KMP (Kotlin Multiplatform) and CMP (Compose Multiplatform) development (preferred).
Experience developing applications with React Native (preferred).
Experience with backend development in Golang, Node, C#, or another modern backend language (preferred).
Experience with digital financial products and/or large-scale apps (preferred).
Experience with critical, highly available applications (preferred).
