Description

  • Design and scale the native iOS and Android architecture to support agentic workflows, multi-turn conversations, and real-time AI interactions.
  • Lead implementation of mobile AI capabilities including low-latency streaming, multi-modal inputs, and client-side agent state management.
  • Own the mobile development lifecycle from architectural specs through deployment, CI/CD optimization on AWS, and production reliability.
  • Provide thoughtful code reviews and mentor engineers across levels to strengthen the mobile and AI engineering craft.
  • Prototype and iterate quickly on complex problems such as offline syncing of agent states and high-volume data pipelines.
  • Lead technical decisions and help shape mobile feature strategy across both iOS and Android.
  • Collaborate across the engineering organization to support disciplined, high-quality mobile development.
  • Help build a scalable mobile interface for autonomous agents that perform complex workflows for customers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a deep focus on native mobile development.
  • Strong experience with Swift and/or Kotlin, with the expectation of working in both iOS and Android codebases.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership leading projects, defining requirements, and driving mobile technical strategy.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex to improve velocity and code quality.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile design patterns, threading, and memory management for long-running asynchronous AI tasks.
  • Familiarity with backend and frontend technologies such as Python, Elixir, React, and TypeScript (preferred).
  • Strong experience with GraphQL for efficient mobile data fetching and real-time subscriptions (preferred).
  • Experience with modern agent frameworks or multi-step reasoning and orchestration patterns on mobile devices (preferred).
  • A collaborative mindset and passion for supporting new team members and building a strong engineering culture (preferred).
