Description

  • Prospect for new leads and opportunities through outreach, referrals, industry events, and inbound inquiries.
  • Manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation through to contract close.
  • Screen, qualify, demonstrate the product, and negotiate contracts to meet growth targets.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and account growth.
  • Own the customer experience after the sale, including onboarding and deployment handoff.
  • Support customers in territory by resolving issues and coordinating with Support teams.
  • Gather field feedback from customers and share insights with Product, Support, and R&D teams.
  • Work with regional agricultural groups to develop deep relationships across the beef industry.
  • Balance territory management across sales and customer success priorities.
  • Travel frequently within the territory to meet customers and prospects.

Requirements

  • Value-based sales experience with a strong record of creating opportunities, closing deals, and building lasting customer relationships.
  • Experience building post-sales value and upselling to grow partnerships.
  • Beef industry knowledge, including understanding of beef operations and the challenges farmers face, or a strong willingness to learn quickly.
  • A proactive, high-energy attitude and a strong sense of ownership over results.
  • Ability to think critically and manage a large territory with balanced sales and customer success priorities.
  • Resourceful problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the territory.
  • Ability to provide evidence of the required experience in a resume, cover letter, and interviews.
  • Experience working with farmers or in agricultural environments is preferred.
  • Based anywhere in Central South Queensland, ideally Goondiwindi or Toowoomba, is preferred.
