Description

  • Identify and research target federal agencies aligned to HTB’s Federal ICP (DoD, DHS, DOJ, Treasury, Intelligence Community, etc.).
  • Map agency buying centers including CIO, CISO, cyber workforce leads, training commands, and SOC leadership.
  • Navigate and leverage federal contract vehicles (GSA, SEWP, IDIQs) and relationships with primes/subcontractors.
  • Execute compliant outbound engagement aligned to federal acquisition cycles and calendar-driven opportunities.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities using MEDDPICC and other structured qualification frameworks.
  • Multi-thread engagement across technical, operational, and procurement stakeholders to advance opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Federal Account Executives and leadership to build strategic accounts and territory plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Solution Engineers, Customer Success, Marketing) to support account development and enablement.

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B sales; Federal/public sector exposure preferred.
  • Understanding of U.S. federal procurement processes (highly desirable).
  • Experience selling into or researching DoD, civilian agencies, intelligence community, or federal system integrators.
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, SPICED, Challenger, Solution Selling).
  • Strong written communication skills tailored to government audiences.
  • Excellent account research, organizational discipline, and comfort navigating long sales cycles.
  • Resilience, consistency, and intellectual curiosity.
  • Bonus: experience working alongside primes or resellers and knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP).
  • Must be able to work in the U.S. (Hack The Box participates in E-Verify).
