Description

  • Partner with executive leaders to translate corporate objectives into a multi-year IT strategic plan.
  • Define, maintain, and publish the IT roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on capacity, financial return, and technical dependency.
  • Establish and run a unified demand management process for evaluating and approving new technology and product proposals.
  • Oversee day-to-day IT PMO operations and enforce consistent project management methodologies across the portfolio.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts by institutionalizing post-project retrospectives and tracking cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
  • Modernize and govern PMO tools, dashboards, templates, policies, and metrics to improve portfolio visibility and escalation management.
  • Direct the Business Analysis function to ensure user requirements are clearly defined, verified, and tied to business value.
  • Manage IT project deliverables using an IT product development lifecycle from discovery through deployment and feature refinement.
  • Collaborate with design stakeholders to apply UX and experience design principles to delivered solutions.
  • Direct the IT QA framework, including automated and manual validation, and govern organizational change management.
  • Define and track portfolio KPIs, customer satisfaction measures, and stakeholder feedback to improve delivery outcomes.
  • Coach, mentor, hire, and evaluate direct reports while building and managing a high-performance PMO team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Finance; master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of IT project or portfolio management experience, including at least 5 years in an enterprise PMO leadership role.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or Agile/Scrum Master certification highly preferred.
  • Experience overseeing digital software development, user interface design lifecycles, and modern software testing methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with executive stakeholders and external vendor partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex issues and root-cause solutions.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training to new project managers or candidates entering the cybersecurity space.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and resourceful in managing changing timelines and multiple deliverables.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to establish and manage a high-performance team.
  • Ability to build relationships at executive levels with customers and vendor groups.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
  • Sedentary work with substantial hand and wrist use and close visual acuity for at least 8 hours per day.
