Description

  • Design, create, and maintain data pipelines that capture and connect user engagement data for attribution and analytics.
  • Build and operate ETL infrastructure for extracting, transforming, and loading data from diverse sources using SQL and AWS big-data services.
  • Engineer scalable data flows and processing solutions (e.g., Spark/MapReduce/Glue) to support reliable analytics and measurement.
  • Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Client Services, and other engineering teams to resolve data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs.
  • Prepare detailed specifications and low-level designs for data systems and pipeline components.
  • Participate in code reviews and apply best practices for maintainability and quality.
  • Test data products in controlled, real-world scenarios prior to production deployment and maintain applications post-launch.
  • Contribute ideas and improvements to the location/attribution platform and related data infrastructure.

Requirements

  • B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science (or related field).
  • 1–3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • Experience with AWS data stack components such as EC2, S3, EMR, ECS, Lambda, and Step Functions.
  • Hands-on experience building data ingestion pipelines and orchestrating workflows (Airflow experience).
  • Proficient in writing analytical SQL queries.
  • Hands-on programming experience with Java and/or Python for data engineering tasks and pipeline orchestration.
  • Experience with Docker and proficiency in Git for source control.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, shell scripting, BI tools (e.g., Looker), DB maintenance, and configuration management/QA practices is a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, MapReduce, and Apache Iceberg is a plus.
