Description

  • Lead planning, coordination, and execution of organizational change management strategies for clinical informatics initiatives.
  • Ensure smooth adoption of new systems, workflows, and interoperability solutions across VHA facilities.
  • Develop communication plans for clinical and technical stakeholders.
  • Create stakeholder engagement strategies to support readiness and adoption.
  • Develop and deliver training programs aligned with Agile delivery and clinical safety standards.
  • Support Agile activities such as PI planning and backlog prioritization.
  • Assess and support stakeholder readiness for clinical informatics changes.
  • Collaborate on the implementation of change strategies for EHR transitions and interoperability projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in change management or organizational development roles within healthcare or federal health IT programs.
  • 5+ years implementing change strategies for clinical informatics systems, EHR transitions, or interoperability projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Agile environments, including PI planning, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder readiness.
  • Experience with Prosci or similar organizational change management frameworks, including ADKAR.
  • Experience developing communications and training for clinical and technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with VA VistA/CPRS and Cerner Millennium/Oracle Health.
  • Knowledge of interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
