Description

  • Troubleshoot, install, configure, repair, and maintain end-user devices, PoS systems, printers, iOS devices, VoIP phones, and related technology.
  • Support Dell and Nutanix servers, Windows Server 2016/2019, Meraki and Fortinet network equipment, wireless systems, IoT devices, and ISP circuits.
  • Perform configuration changes, software installations, firmware updates, patching, testing, and preventive maintenance under change-management procedures.
  • Monitor and resolve incidents and service requests through Freshservice, and respond to SolarWinds and other operational alerts.
  • Own support for assigned systems or locations, escalating high-risk or architecture-level issues as needed.
  • Complete infrastructure upgrades, site openings, remodels, equipment refreshes, and technology deployments.
  • Coordinate incident response, communicate status, contribute to root-cause reviews, and implement corrective actions.
  • Create technical documentation, maintain asset and installation records, and reinforce security, change-control, and service standards.
  • Provide guidance to Associate Engineers and recommend improvements to system reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Travel up to 40% and participate in after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call rotations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in IT operations, infrastructure support, field services, systems administration, or a related technical role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot moderately complex hardware, software, server, network, wireless, and connectivity issues.
  • Working knowledge of end-user devices, retail PoS technology, Windows environments, server infrastructure, network equipment, monitoring platforms, and IT service management.
  • Experience with installations, configuration changes, patching, equipment deployments, and preventive maintenance using documented procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate status, and complete assignments with limited supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills when working with customers, vendors, contractors, and team members.
  • Ability to document technical work and guide less-experienced team members.
  • Ability to pass state cannabis licensing requirements, including federal background checks, and hold a valid driver’s license where applicable.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%, participate in on-call rotations, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in construction or operational environments.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $75,000–$90,000 USD, based on experience, qualifications, and location.
  • Potential eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program based on organizational and individual performance.
  • Remote work arrangement with up to 40% travel.
