Description

  • Lead requirements-gathering workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs with Ordering, CPG Operations, Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate business and technology discussions while coordinating project schedules, scope, risks, dependencies, and status.
  • Author and maintain user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and the product backlog; coordinate backlog grooming sessions.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flow diagrams, integration documentation, and application mockups.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business partners and development teams throughout the SDLC.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, integration maps, configuration guides, operational runbooks, and other application documentation.
  • Support CPG, Ordering, and integration projects by ensuring data integrity, clear requirements, and documented outcomes.
  • Support Level 3 application triage by capturing issue requirements and defining resolution criteria with technical teams.
  • Define MVP scope, launch-readiness criteria, and phased capability roadmaps with business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on sprint planning and release sequencing to align business priorities with delivery timelines.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience supporting Manufacturing Operations.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, including investigating issues and identifying process improvements.
  • Strong technical background with experience troubleshooting bugs, documenting requirements, and testing in technical environments.
  • Project management and organizational skills to manage projects and communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of the relevant business domain and its supporting systems, capabilities, and integrations.
  • Experience supporting Order Management, CPG, ERP, and related operational systems preferred.
  • Experience in highly regulated industries preferred.
  • Experience creating application process-flow and architectural integration diagrams preferred.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude for requirements documentation, user-story generation, or application mockups preferred.
  • Must pass required background checks, maintain industry and company compliance, hold a valid driver’s license, be at least 21 years old, and receive state badging approval to work in the cannabis industry.

Benefits

  • Remote position; Chicagoland-area candidates preferred.
  • Salary range of $75,000–$85,000 USD, based on experience, qualifications, and/or location.
  • Potential eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program based on organizational and individual performance.
