Description

  • Investigate and resolve file feed data errors to ensure accurate and timely data exchange between systems and vendors.
  • Manage benefits-related email communications and serve as a responsive resource for employees at all levels.
  • Manage the leave of absence process in partnership with Payroll from initiation through return.
  • Own the new hire benefits onboarding experience so employees can understand and use their benefits from day one.
  • Process ADP new hire enrollments, life events, domestic partner affidavit requests, and annual enrollment with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and provide timely, knowledgeable, and empathetic support.
  • Collaborate with insurance brokers and carriers to resolve administrative issues and maintain plan compliance.
  • Manage market pricing and benchmarking requests for new roles and review job descriptions for classification and pay grade alignment.
  • Participate in salary surveys and other compensation surveys to keep market data current and competitive.
  • Administer 401(k) and health and welfare annual testing and coordinate with plan administrators and auditors as needed.
  • Provide level 1 support to HRBP and Payroll teams for benefits and compensation inquiries.
  • Partner with the Total Rewards Director and HRBPs on annual merit process administration, including data preparation, communications, and system updates.
  • Support Finance with compensation-related reporting, budgeting, and accrual data.
  • Manage wellness and benefits workshops and communications aligned with the Total Rewards strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in total rewards, benefits, and compensation administration.
  • Hands-on experience with ADP and/or Rippling for benefits enrollment and administration.
  • Working knowledge of 401(k) and health and welfare plan compliance and testing requirements.
  • Experience with compensation benchmarking, market pricing, and job evaluation methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Radford/Aon and/or Culpepper is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex benefits concepts clearly to employees at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, growing organization.
  • CCP, CBP, or CEBS certification is preferred.
  • Experience in a high-growth or start-up environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with wellness program design and benefits communications best practices is preferred.
