Description

  • Plan and execute user research studies, including contextual inquiries, user surveys, and usability tests.
  • Analyze user requirements and business needs through use cases, user research, and user flows.
  • Create design concepts, information architecture, wireframes, detailed UI designs, interactive prototypes, and UI specifications.
  • Partner with Business Analysts, Product Managers, Sales, and Marketing to shape user-friendly interfaces.
  • Work closely with development and testing teams to implement and test user interfaces.
  • Create and maintain user experience guidelines and design standards.
  • Research, prototype, and design new product experiences, including complex workflow portals.
  • Test applications for accessibility and ADA compliance.
  • Iterate on design concepts using feedback from product managers and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of UX design experience.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience designing for B2B SaaS applications.
  • Experience identifying UX issues and applying UI/UX design best practices.
  • Experience planning and conducting user research using tools such as Userlytics or Lyssna.
  • Ability to make design decisions using qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for high-fidelity mockups.
  • Solid understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
  • Solid understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences.
  • Strong ownership mindset and ability to see projects through to completion.
  • Ability and willingness to learn complex tools and technologies.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, around 5%.
  • Preferred experience sharing additional work samples such as websites, applications, marketing pieces, or artwork.
