Description

  • Own RTL implementation for processor and CPU-related silicon programs from microarchitecture through tapeout.
  • Lead development of RTL for CPU, DSP, or datapath-intensive designs.
  • Drive synthesis and timing closure using industry-standard EDA tools.
  • Coordinate closely with architecture, verification, and physical design teams.
  • Contribute technical leadership while remaining deeply hands-on in design execution.
  • Support the path from RTL development to successful GDSII handoff.
  • Design original mathematics problems and create reasoning tasks across core math domains.
  • Write complete, rigorous, self-contained solutions using LaTeX.
  • Evaluate AI-generated solutions for correctness, logical consistency, and proof gaps.
  • Classify problems by topic, difficulty, and mathematical domain and collaborate with reviewers to improve evaluation quality.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of RTL design experience using SystemVerilog.
  • Proven experience leading RTL development for processor, CPU, DSP, or datapath-intensive designs.
  • Experience delivering at least one silicon tapeout through GDSII handoff.
  • Strong synthesis and timing closure experience using industry-standard EDA tools.
  • Deep understanding of microarchitecture and hardware design principles.
  • Experience with advanced semiconductor process technologies, with 28nm or below preferred.
  • Ability to lead engineering teams while remaining highly hands-on technically.
  • Strong communication and technical leadership skills.
