Description

  • Prospect and target primary care practices to generate interest in Galleri and onboard early adopter customers.
  • Spend the majority of time on in-person visits, event support, and execution of company initiatives in the field.
  • Report to the GRAIL District Manager and work closely with sales leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement a business plan to grow the territory.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals by increasing prescribing breadth and depth and executing the national sales strategy.
  • Manage promotional activities in alignment with company policies and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer service, billing, medical science liaisons, and other customer-facing teams to share field feedback and shape execution.
  • Educate providers on the science and studies supporting MCED technology and build relationships with key opinion leaders.
  • Identify market opportunities, share best practices, and communicate effective selling strategies across the commercial team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of sales experience in the lab, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry, or 12+ years of overall sales experience with at least 4+ recent years in lab, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology sales.
  • Ability to travel approximately 85% of the time, including overnight stays.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Documented history of sales success and strong selling skills in the healthcare industry (preferred).
  • New product launch experience with a complex, highly technical product or LDT experience (preferred).
  • Ability to translate complex science into compelling customer messages that drive action (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of the geography and customer base, with existing relationships in concierge medicine and/or health system providers preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a complex, cross-functional environment and work with ambiguity and change (preferred).
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment and passion for GRAIL’s mission (preferred).
