Description

  • Prospect and target primary care practices across the Indianapolis territory to generate interest in Galleri and onboard early adopter customers.
  • Spend the majority of time conducting in-person visits, planning and supporting events, and executing company initiatives.
  • Work directly with sales leadership and internal stakeholders to execute the go-to-market sales strategy.
  • Develop and implement a territory business plan to support growth.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals by increasing prescription breadth and depth and executing the national sales strategy.
  • Provide field feedback to executive sales leadership, marketing, customer service, billing, and other customer-facing functions.
  • Manage promotional activities in alignment with sales and marketing strategies, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons to educate providers on the science behind MCED technology and build relationships with key opinion leaders.
  • Identify marketplace opportunities, share best practices, and communicate successful selling strategies to peers and management.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the LDT market, competitive landscape, and current cancer screening options to support sales execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of sales experience within the lab, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry, or 12+ years of overall sales experience including at least 4+ years of recent experience in those industries.
  • Ability to travel approximately 85%, including overnight stays.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Documented history of sales performance success and accolades.
  • Strong selling skills and a deep understanding of the healthcare sales process.
  • Experience with a complex, highly technical new product launch, preferably in LDT or a new product category.
  • Ability to translate complex science into compelling customer messages that drive action.
  • Working knowledge of the territory geography and customer base; existing relationships with concierge medicine and/or health system providers preferred.
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment and comfort with ambiguity and change.
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment and build strong internal relationships.
  • Advanced business acumen and account management skills.
