Description

  • Architect and own end-to-end integrations across Salesforce, Snowflake/BigQuery, Slack, Grafana, and billing and finance systems.
  • Define and enforce integration patterns and API standards across the GTM stack.
  • Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for integration failures and improve observability and alerting.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to translate business requirements into reliable, scalable technical solutions.
  • Evaluate third-party connectors, middleware, and iPaaS tools using build-versus-buy criteria.
  • Design and ship internal applications that replace SaaS point solutions and consolidate workflows.
  • Establish internal development practices for code standards, CI/CD, deployment patterns, and documentation.
  • Use AI and LLM capabilities to accelerate internal tool development and automate repetitive operations work.
  • Set the technical direction for GTM data sharing by defining canonical data models, source-of-truth ownership, and sync strategies.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide architectural guidance to engineers, analysts, and other technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on systems integration and/or internal platform development.
  • Expert-level Python experience, with production coding experience; Java and JavaScript experience are also expected.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce, including data models, APIs, and automation, plus at least one cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
  • Proven track record building internal tooling that replaced or significantly reduced reliance on commercial SaaS products.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, API design, event-driven architectures, and ETL/ELT patterns.
  • Experience integrating billing, finance, or quote-to-cash systems such as Stripe, NetSuite, or Zuora.
  • Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments, scope work independently, and drive it to completion.
  • Strong communication skills for translating technical tradeoffs to non-technical GTM and finance stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with GTM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, or Gainsight.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks or tooling such as React or Slack Block Kit is a bonus.
  • Experience with vector databases or retrieval pipelines such as Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, or pgvector is a bonus.
  • Prior work automating sales, customer success, or marketing workflows in a B2B SaaS environment is a bonus.
  • Experience with workflow automation platforms such as n8n, Workato, Prefect, Clay, PhantomBuster, Apify, or Dust is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar standards is a bonus.
  • Exposure to observability tools for AI systems such as LangSmith or Weights & Biases is a bonus.
  • Experience in Revenue Operations, GTM Analytics, or Sales Operations is a bonus.
  • Previous experience in open source or developer-focused SaaS companies is a bonus.
  • Must be based in Canada time zones for this remote role.
