Description

  • Develop go-to-market programs that position Grafana Labs’ products and open source strategy for target customers.
  • Own messaging and positioning across key personas and product areas.
  • Partner with product management to define product value, competitive positioning, and sales enablement materials.
  • Work with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to create customer adoption materials such as reference architectures, implementation guides, and product documentation.
  • Lead launches of new products and features relevant to target buyers.
  • Conduct internal and customer research to identify pain points, competitive threats, and market opportunities.
  • Train go-to-market and sales teams on product capabilities and customer value.
  • Own customer lifecycle campaigns, including competitive positioning, retention, and upsell/cross-sell efforts.
  • Create hands-on marketing content such as blogs, webinar outlines, and video scripts.
  • Codify product marketing knowledge into tools and processes that others in the organization can use.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, or product management.
  • Experience marketing and selling technical products to a technical audience.
  • Passion for open source, cloud native, and infrastructure technologies.
  • Proven ability to drive complex projects from start to finish.
  • Ability to articulate the value of technical products to both customers and sellers.
  • Experience leading product or feature launches independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfort working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in complex processes.
  • Strong product and technical curiosity that translates into clear packaging, positioning, and messaging.
  • Demonstrated quantitative analytical skills for campaign performance analysis, lifecycle metrics, and data-driven recommendations.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • High execution focus with a strong say-do ratio.
  • Remote applicants must be located in the USA or Canada and work in EST/CST time zones.
  • Experience with product marketing, competitive positioning, or lifecycle marketing is preferred.
