Description

  • Attract, recruit, ramp, mentor, and retain a diverse team of Observability Architects.
  • Define, build, and execute customer lifecycle frameworks with the Engagement Management team.
  • Lead with a servant-based, player-coach approach while balancing field responsibilities and team needs.
  • Own regional planning, actions, and outcomes based on leadership goals.
  • Drive retention and expansion across the customer base.
  • Partner with US sales leadership on customer programs, marketing initiatives, and community or company events.
  • Provide executive sponsorship for key accounts and act as a thought leader for customers and internal teams.
  • Understand customer adoption strategies and develop programs and collateral to help customers achieve their goals.
  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Own team cadence and support prospects with demonstrations, technical deep dives, trials, and POVs.
  • Educate users, editors, and architects on how to leverage the Grafana stack.
  • Assist with building and modifying critical SLA dashboards in the production environment.
  • Work with sales to communicate Grafana’s value proposition, vision, and strategy.
  • Provide customer and internal feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
  • Create and improve documentation, blog posts, videos, knowledge base articles, and other enablement materials.

Requirements

  • 3+ years leading a team.
  • 5+ years in the high-tech industry in roles such as TAM Manager, SE Manager, Developer, Sales Engineer/Architect, or Manager.
  • Direct experience mentoring, developing people, and managing performance over time.
  • Experience with open source selling or a cloud-first/product-led sales motion is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of operational expertise in the Grafana Platform (LGTM) and/or competing observability products.
  • Direct experience selling monitoring, data, or visualization products.
  • Experience solving customer adoption challenges creatively.
  • Ability to assist with technical issues, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Extensive Grafana deployment design expertise.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with remote teams and global customers.
