Description

  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions and introduce staff to organizational policies, programs, and service expectations.
  • Ensure all onboarding steps are completed for new employees and support their transition into the role.
  • Manage and maintain training modules within the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Assign required courses, monitor completion, and update training materials as policies evolve.
  • Deliver training on housing stabilization services, documentation standards, service note requirements, and Medicaid service documentation.
  • Coordinate training on client engagement, housing search strategies, and community resource navigation.
  • Organize shadowing opportunities and practical learning experiences for new staff.
  • Provide coaching and support to new employees during their first 30–60 days of employment.
  • Work closely with supervisors to strengthen new staff service delivery skills.
  • Facilitate ongoing staff training sessions, identify skill gaps, and recommend improvements to onboarding and training processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Human Services, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in workforce training, onboarding, or staff development.
  • Experience working in human services, healthcare, housing programs, or IDD services.
  • Experience delivering training sessions or facilitating group learning.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfort using online learning platforms such as LMS systems.
  • Strong training and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to mentor and coach new employees, with attention to detail and recordkeeping accuracy.
