Description

  • Design, develop, and calibrate pre-match, in-play, BetBuilder, and Cashout models for assigned sports.
  • Derive consistent market trees covering match odds, handicaps, totals, derivatives, player props, and same-game multiples.
  • Model live scenarios involving scores, time decay, red cards, injuries, substitutions, momentum, service games, and possession.
  • Analyze competitor and exchange prices, remove margins, and blend market signals with internal models.
  • Define liability limits, exposure thresholds, and automated risk-mitigation rules.
  • Run Monte Carlo simulations to quantify tail risk for major events and accumulator exposure.
  • Provide real-time analysis and pricing recommendations during high-liability events.
  • Set quantitative roadmaps with Trading and Product leadership.
  • Partner with Engineering to productionize low-latency pricing services and establish monitoring and alerting.
  • Act as a technical authority and mentor junior and mid-level quantitative analysts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of quantitative analysis experience, including 3+ years in sports betting, betting exchanges, or sports trading/analytics.
  • Expertise in probabilistic and statistical modelling.
  • Expert Python skills for modelling and production code.
  • Strong experience designing sports models, including ratings, simulations, and in-play models.
  • Experience with both pre-match and in-play pricing.
  • Advanced knowledge of bookmaking economics, margin strategy, risk, liability, and exposure management.
  • Advanced SQL and experience working with large-scale datasets.
  • Experience developing, validating, and deploying models with measurable commercial impact.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and low-latency or streaming systems.
  • English proficiency at B2+ level.
