Description

  • Lead the technical direction of a team of 3 Software Engineers and 2 QA Engineers.
  • Own key architecture and technical decisions.
  • Design and develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Go.
  • Stay hands-on with production code and solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Design reliable, maintainable distributed systems and improve performance, reliability, observability, and scalability.
  • Lead code reviews and uphold engineering, testing, and code quality standards.
  • Identify technical risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Mentor engineers and support their technical growth.
  • Improve team productivity, development processes, and delivery quality.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, and other engineering teams while using AI-powered development tools to improve workflows and code quality.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong commercial experience with Go (Golang) and backend engineering.
  • Experience designing scalable architectures and distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of microservices and asynchronous communication patterns.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, REST APIs, and message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
  • Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience leading engineers and driving technical and architectural decisions.
  • Strong understanding of engineering best practices, testing, code quality, and system reliability.
  • Daily experience using AI development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, GitOps, high-load or high-availability systems, event-driven architectures, or transaction-heavy products is preferred.
  • Experience with Web3, blockchain, fintech, LLM APIs, TypeScript, or Node.js is preferred.
