Description

  • Build accurate mechanical files from approved direction, aligned to dielines, bleeds, safety areas, and print specifications.
  • Create bottom labels and update copy-heavy packaging files.
  • Prepare vendor-ready artwork with correct color builds, overprint/knockout settings, trapping, separations, and finishing plates.
  • Design commercially viable fragrance collections optimized for mass retail.
  • Translate brand and creative direction into scalable SKUs, size variants, and line extensions while maintaining consistency across formats and substrates.
  • Preflight and quality-check all files, manage revisions, and control versions to reduce errors and rework.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve manufacturability issues and adjust layouts based on proofing, color targets, and press checks.
  • Maintain asset libraries, naming conventions, dieline repositories, spec sheets, and production checklists.
  • Ensure packaging complies with retailer guidelines and regulatory or labeling requirements.
  • Support cost reduction through smart material, finish, layout, and production choices, and create presentation-ready mockups and sell-in decks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of packaging production design experience in CPG, beauty, fragrance, or a related industry.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign for packaging production workflows.
  • Strong typography skills, including hierarchy, legibility, kerning, and grid systems as applied to packaging.
  • Solid prepress and print production knowledge, including Pantone/CMYK, spot colors, foil and emboss plates, varnishes, dielines, and substrates.
  • English fluency is required.
  • Based in Latin America and available to work remotely.
  • PowerPoint experience is a plus.
  • 3D rendering experience for bottles and packaging is a plus, with tools such as KeyShot, Adobe Dimension, Blender, or Cinema 4D.
  • Basic understanding of packaging engineering/CAD workflows and vendor collaboration is a plus.
