Description

  • Process data from medical coders to support claims submission and payment.
  • Submit electronic and paper claims to primary, secondary, and third-party insurance companies.
  • Verify insurance coverage and record explanation of benefits.
  • Review denied claims, correct denial claims, and resubmit claims.
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls with patients, providers, and insurance companies.
  • Assist patients with billing questions and provide customer service support.
  • Handle follow-ups, authorizations, collections, and outstanding balances and receivables.
  • Provide administrative support through data entry and insurance verification.

Requirements

  • Interested in US healthcare claims customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Customer service experience in insurance billing.
  • HIPAA certification is a plus.
  • Excellent time management and strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized, impartial, and computer savvy.
  • Great work attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Open to working night shifts.
  • Minimum system: Intel Core i5-6000 (6th Gen) or AMD Ryzen 5, 8 GB RAM, Windows 11 64-bit or macOS Ventura, USB noise-cancelling headset, and a camera with clear video output.
  • Primary internet connection: DSL/Fiber with at least 100 Mb/s contracted; backup internet: at least 20 Mb/s via cell.
  • Recommended system: Intel Core i7/i9/Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen 7+, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 64-bit or macOS Tahoe, USB noise-cancelling headset, and clear video camera.
  • Backup power option must support at least 3 hours, typically 240Wh or higher, and handle all required plugs.
