Description

  • Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation for GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform.
  • Own technical evaluations, including solution design, POC/POV work, workshop design, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams to support new logo acquisition and account expansion.
  • Build trusted relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders and help turn them into GitLab advocates.
  • Advise customers on modern software development, CI/CD, security, cloud practices, and ROI improvements.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer to Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Maintain and extend technical expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and cloud technologies.
  • Create reusable examples, best-practice guidance, and technical collateral for customers and partners.
  • Invest in ongoing learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing within the Solutions Architect team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Experience guiding customers through solution design and evaluation.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including DevSecOps and CI/CD workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms.
  • Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related deployment, security, and operations options.
  • Experience leading technical evaluations such as proofs of concept or proofs of value.
  • Experience contributing to tenders, audits, workshops, or value stream assessments.
  • Clear technical communication and presentation skills for both practitioners and senior decision makers.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships, listen with empathy, and advocate for customers internally.
  • Motivation to keep learning new technologies and deepen GitLab platform expertise.
