Description

  • Lead high-impact initiatives supporting strategic public sector sales opportunities.
  • Manage, hire, coach, provide feedback to, and retain Solutions Architects.
  • Guide technical evaluations and validation efforts aligned with customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with regional sales managers and cross-functional leaders on complex opportunities.
  • Improve team practices, execution strategies, and cross-functional operating processes.
  • Communicate GitLab’s vision, strategy, and values to support consistent team execution.
  • Track performance through key performance indicators and report progress to leadership.
  • Act as a Solutions Architect on selected customer opportunities to model effective engagement.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in the public sector.
  • 2+ years of experience leading high-performing teams, preferably in global or remote environments.
  • Experience managing team execution, coaching, and performance.
  • Experience in technical pre-sales or a related customer-facing information technology role.
  • Knowledge of modern software development and operations practices across the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing and secure, scalable cloud adoption practices.
  • Experience mentoring others and exchanging constructive feedback.
  • Experience collaborating with managers and cross-functional partners on shared strategies.
  • Understanding of public sector, regulated, or mission-driven customer environments.
  • United States citizenship is required.
