Description

  • Lead technical discovery, demos, and proofs of value to show how the platform addresses customer technical, regulatory, and business needs.
  • Own the technical evaluation process, including solution design, POC/POV execution, workshop design, and support for tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
  • Partner with Account Executives and regional sales teams to shape and execute account strategies for new business and expansion.
  • Build trusted relationships with technical practitioners and business stakeholders at financial services organizations.
  • Advise customers on modern software development, CI/CD, security, cloud practices, and compliance considerations.
  • Serve as the voice of financial services customers to Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Create reusable examples, best-practice guidance, and technical collateral tailored to financial services customers and partners.
  • Continuously deepen expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and related cloud technologies.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, mentorship, and the growth of the Solutions Architect team.

Requirements

  • Experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps and CI/CD workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms.
  • Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related deployment, security, and operations technologies.
  • Ability to lead technical evaluations such as proofs of concept or proofs of value.
  • Ability to contribute to tenders or audits and design and run workshops or value stream assessments.
  • Clear technical communication and presentation skills for audiences ranging from practitioners to senior decision makers.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships, listen with empathy, and advocate for customers internally.
  • Motivation to continuously develop professionally and learn new technologies.
  • Experience mapping platform capabilities to financial services use cases and constraints is preferred.

  • Base salary range of $154,200 to $231,300 USD.
