Description

  • Own a broad book of business across new prospects and existing accounts in the CIS region.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from discovery and solution alignment through negotiation and close.
  • Articulate GitLab’s DevSecOps value proposition and connect it to customer business outcomes.
  • Document buying criteria, buying processes, next steps, and owners to keep the pipeline accurate and evidence-based.
  • Analyze wins and losses and contribute to root cause analyses with sales, marketing, and technical teams.
  • Share best practices and improvement ideas to help refine the sales handbook and sales processes.
  • Partner with technical teams and customer success to provide account leadership across pre-sales and post-sales.
  • Represent the voice of the customer by contributing product feedback and ideas to the public issue tracker.

Requirements

  • Proven success in software sales, ideally in a mid-market or enterprise environment.
  • Experience managing a varied book of business.
  • Ability to guide customers through the full buying journey, including defining buying criteria and mapping buying processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with business development, marketing, technical teams, and sales management.
  • Experience documenting and maintaining accurate pipeline data and account plans based on evidence.
  • Experience conducting or contributing to win/loss and root cause analyses.
  • Proficiency in negotiation, customer presentations, and leading commercial discussions to close opportunities.
  • Interest in GitLab and open source software, with preferred familiarity with Git, software development tools, or application lifecycle management.
  • Fluency in Russian and English.
  • Willingness to travel in line with company policy.
