Description

  • Lead a distributed team of Customer Success Engineers across EMEA to drive adoption and value realization for a pooled book of business.
  • Develop and execute scalable technical enablement strategies and programs for source code management, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and Agile planning.
  • Build repeatable frameworks and systematic solutions that remove adoption barriers and improve measurable customer outcomes.
  • Partner with Sales, Renewals, and Customer Success Managers to align technical work with retention and expansion goals.
  • Use data and performance indicators to measure program effectiveness, identify adoption trends, and refine initiatives.
  • Coach and mentor team members to deepen DevSecOps expertise, customer engagement skills, and business-value storytelling.
  • Champion the voice of the customer by translating technical pain points and field insights into actionable feedback for Product and Engineering.
  • Ensure customer feedback, feature requests, and adoption insights inform roadmap priorities and customer experience improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices and the ability to connect platform capabilities to business outcomes.
  • Experience leading and developing technical teams in a distributed, remote environment.
  • Background in software development or engineering.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable customer success or technical enablement programs.
  • Ability to use data to measure impact and refine approaches.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, outcome-focused messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with Sales, Renewals, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Comfort using customer insights and feedback to influence product, process, and program decisions.
  • Openness to varied backgrounds and transferable skills, with a growth mindset toward learning GitLab’s platform and evolving DevSecOps practices.
