Description

  • Manage and support GitLab’s major accounts and strategic customer portfolio.
  • Own the end-to-end sales process by coordinating with Solutions Architects, Customer Success Managers, Professional Services, Marketing, Executives, Partners, and Channel teams.
  • Use solution selling to respond to customer needs and build long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer performance metrics, business strategies, and goals to anticipate future needs.
  • Conduct prospecting and develop opportunities in major enterprise accounts.
  • Lead pre-sales and post-sales account leadership to ensure successful rollout and adoption of GitLab products.
  • Prepare quotes, written sales proposals, and formal sales presentations tailored to business needs.
  • Develop account plans based on customer business requirements.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis of wins and losses and share lessons learned across teams.
  • Communicate customer feedback and product ideas to internal teams and GitLab’s public issue tracker.

Requirements

  • Full professional proficiency in French and German.
  • Experience selling into highly complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated consistent results and overachievement of quota.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including comfort presenting to C-level executives.
  • Experience with solutions selling and positioning value based on customer needs.
  • Deep understanding of Git, software development tools, and application lifecycle management.
  • Ability to use GitLab.
  • Ability to travel if needed and comply with the company’s travel policy.
  • Alignment with GitLab’s values and willingness to work in accordance with them.
