Description

  • Lead customer retention across EMEA through proactive planning, management, and execution of renewals.
  • Develop and communicate the regional renewals strategy to prioritize team efforts, initiatives, and goals.
  • Own and drive the renewals process in collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, channel partners, Revenue Operations, and Legal.
  • Hire, coach, and support a high-performing renewals team with accountability for key performance indicators.
  • Continuously improve renewals processes, policies, and playbooks to increase predictability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and manage renewal risk and expansion opportunity while maintaining forecast visibility.
  • Drive improvements in systems, data quality, and automation to strengthen renewals execution and operational insight.
  • Negotiate and execute renewal agreements in alignment with customer goals and internal policies.
  • Build and improve regional renewals programs that support retention, predictability, and clear operating processes.
  • Partner cross-functionally to manage complex renewal workflows and improve forecast accuracy.

Requirements

  • Experience leading renewals, retention, sales, or related customer-facing functions in a SaaS or subscription business.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver against revenue-related goals in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience developing, leading, and growing teams with a people-first coaching and performance management approach.
  • Strong ability to work across functions and influence stakeholders with different priorities.
  • Data-informed decision-making skills with experience using systems, reporting, and process improvements.
  • Understanding of both direct and channel go-to-market motions and their impact on the renewals lifecycle.
  • A values-aligned leadership style with the ability to model collaboration, transparency, and accountability in a remote environment.
  • Ability to use GitLab.
  • Experience in an EMEA or multi-region renewals environment (preferred).
