Description

  • Partner with customers to turn pre-sales plans and desired business outcomes into actionable objectives.
  • Guide customers on GitLab platform best practices, common use cases, and future adoption.
  • Act as the main liaison for customer questions, issues, and escalations.
  • Collaborate with Support, Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Professional Services as needed.
  • Own a book of assigned customers and manage adoption, retention, growth, and satisfaction.
  • Stay current on GitLab releases and product changes.
  • Support customers through the full journey from implementation to expanded use cases.
  • Coordinate across internal teams to streamline collaboration and resolve customer needs.

Requirements

  • Understanding of Git and typical branching strategies.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and development pipeline.
  • Understanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and DevSecOps.
  • Prior experience in Customer Success or equivalent experience driving satisfaction, adoption, and retention.
  • Experience partnering with customers to define and achieve business outcomes.
  • Familiarity working with customers of sizes relevant to the assigned segment.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and strong in problem-solving.
  • Strong team-player mindset with the ability to work independently as a self-starter.
  • Project management experience and skills.
  • Alignment with GitLab values and willingness to work in accordance with them.
  • Willingness to travel if needed and comply with the company travel policy.
