Description

  • Translate pre-sales command plans and business outcomes into clear customer objectives.
  • Guide customers on effective use of the GitLab platform and DevSecOps best practices.
  • Map the customer journey and coach customers on adopting new use cases over time.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams including Support, Product Management, Sales, Professional Services, and Engineering.
  • Own a book of business and drive adoption, retention, expansion, and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay current on GitLab releases and help customers apply new features to their environments.
  • Plan, track, and deliver customer enablement and success initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
  • Represent the voice of the customer across GitLab while managing complex cross-functional work.

Requirements

  • Must be a United States Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
  • Background in Customer Success or a similar customer-facing role with a track record of improving satisfaction, adoption, and retention.
  • Experience connecting technical capabilities to business outcomes and defining measurable objectives with customers.
  • Understanding of Git, common branching strategies, the software development lifecycle, and development pipelines.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and DevSecOps concepts.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of public sector customers of varying sizes and priorities.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and organizational skills with the ability to explain technical topics clearly.
  • Demonstrated project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with the GitLab platform and its releases is beneficial.
  • Experience working in an all-remote, asynchronous, cross-time-zone environment is helpful.
