Description

  • Support product development and lifecycle activities for Girls Who Code products and integrated systems.
  • Document user stories, product requirements, technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and implementation details.
  • Track and analyze feature requests and user feedback to inform product improvements.
  • Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), document bugs, and reproduce issues with relevant system context.
  • Prepare release notes and contribute to internal communications about product updates.
  • Write and maintain SQL queries and perform data analysis on product performance and user behavior.
  • Monitor website performance and user behavior using Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and escalate product issues across systems, data flows, and integrations.
  • Build lightweight automations, scripts, or workflows to improve product operations and efficiency.
  • Support internal teams and external users by responding to inquiries, implementing updates, maintaining documentation, and providing training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 0–2 years of experience in product management, human-centered design, product development, technical support, data analysis, technical consulting, or related technical roles.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, or similar data analysis tools through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS or other programming/scripting languages through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering and human-in-the-loop (HITL) workflows for large language models (LLMs).
  • Comfort working with technical systems, troubleshooting issues, and quickly learning new tools and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for Girls Who Code’s mission and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Familiarity with APIs, data systems, or system integrations (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools and exposure to Agile practices (preferred).
  • Exposure to UI/UX tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch (preferred).

Benefits

  • $58,000 - $72,000 a year compensation range.
  • Remote work option.
  • Non-exempt, paid hourly role with overtime eligibility.
