Description

  • Run discovery to map incident history, identify blind spots and high-severity risks, and establish the scope of the Trust & Safety program.
  • Own the Trust & Safety roadmap, including immediate fixes, long-term initiatives, launch dates, training milestones, and continuing education.
  • Write and maintain internal policies, emergency response procedures, escalation workflows, incident reporting standards, and post-incident review practices.
  • Source, evaluate, pilot, roll out, and drive adoption of safety solutions and tools, including hardware and internal process controls.
  • Build and sustain field safety education through a company-wide rollout and ongoing content for huddles, lunch and learns, in-app materials, written content, and audio.
  • Partner with Legal and Privacy to review anything involving recording, monitoring, patient identification, or additional data collection.
  • Serve as the escalation point for serious incidents and coordinate responses across People, Field Operations, Clinical, and Legal.
  • Define, track, and report safety metrics such as incident rate, severity, response time, training completion, engagement, and workers’ compensation outcomes.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in trust and safety, workplace safety/EHS, risk, corporate security, or field operations.
  • 2+ years owning programs or leading people.
  • Experience supporting a distributed, in-person workforce.
  • Track record of building a function from zero rather than maintaining an existing one.
  • Working knowledge of injury response, investigation practices, OSHA recordkeeping, and workers’ compensation.
  • Experience partnering with Legal and Privacy on recording, employee monitoring, or PII/PHI-related programs.
  • Excellent written communication skills for policies, executive memos, and field-facing training materials.
  • Ability to drive adoption of programs among frontline employees.
  • Highly organized and self-directed with experience managing a roadmap with many dependencies.
  • Nice to have: experience in healthcare, home health, mobile phlebotomy, field services, or logistics.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with lone-worker safety tools such as body cameras, panic buttons, GPS check-ins, dashcams, or fleet telematics.
  • Nice to have: CSP, ASP, or OHST certification, or formal de-escalation and crisis intervention training.
  • Nice to have: experience building an education library or LMS curriculum and driving completion metrics.
  • Nice to have: multi-state employment law exposure, especially consent-to-record and employee monitoring requirements.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary of $110K-$140K.
  • Valuable stock option plan.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • Flexible and unlimited vacation.
  • Opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with ambitious colleagues.
