Description

  • Own client-facing learning design processes from discovery through delivery, including requirements, outcomes, timelines, scope, resources, and quality.
  • Partner with sales, product, client success, solutions, delivery teams, and subject matter experts to translate client needs into learning solutions.
  • Design and develop instructor-led programs with slides, labs, simulations, assessments, facilitator guides, workbooks, and workplace exercises.
  • Create hands-on learning activities using AI and workplace tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and similar platforms.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging, and outcome-driven learning experiences.
  • Manage program development projects, contributors, deliverables, timelines, and quality assurance processes.
  • Develop instructor enablement materials and guide instructors in delivering interactive, applied learning experiences.
  • Collect and analyze learning-impact data to improve content, learner outcomes, and programs.
  • Create reusable learning components, templates, assessments, and scalable productized curriculum.
  • Support localization and adaptation of programs for diverse global audiences and client contexts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, curriculum design, or a related field, including significant instructor-led training experience.
  • Experience designing high-quality learning for enterprise, professional, technical, or workplace audiences.
  • Strong portfolio of practical learning materials, including activities, assessments, case studies, labs, simulations, facilitator guides, and learner resources.
  • Experience managing clients, stakeholders, subject matter experts, instructors, vendors, or cross-functional partners.
  • Knowledge of Bloom’s Taxonomy, ADDIE, experiential learning, practice-based learning, and adult learning principles.
  • Ability to design for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on fluency with current AI tools and knowledge of generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, machine learning, AI agents, and responsible AI use.
  • Experience designing learning related to AI, data, digital transformation, technical skills, or workplace technology adoption.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms, content management systems, and authoring tools.
  • Willingness to work across time zones and adapt in fast-changing environments.
  • Preferred: Technical proficiency with Python, APIs, TensorFlow, PyTorch, GitHub, cloud labs, virtual machines, or similar tools.
  • Preferred: Experience creating AI labs, coding exercises, model-building workshops, AI academies, adaptive learning, or role-based technology programs.

Benefits

  • Flexible, 100% remote contractor position for a 2- or 3-month term.
  • Expected workload of approximately 30 hours per week while assigned to a project.
  • Hourly pay of $45–$55 USD for US candidates.
  • Hourly pay of €23–€35 for European candidates.
  • Hourly pay of $15–$25 USD for South Asian candidates.
  • Hourly pay of $20–$38 USD for APAC candidates.
  • Remote work available in approved operating countries, including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and Singapore.
