Description

  • Own the client-facing design process from requirements gathering and discovery through delivery and quality assurance.
  • Partner with sales, product, client success, SMEs, instructors, vendors, and delivery teams to define learning solutions and outcomes.
  • Design and develop instructor-led programs, labs, simulations, assessments, facilitator guides, workbooks, and workplace exercises.
  • Create applied learning activities using AI and workplace tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot.
  • Translate technical concepts into accessible, engaging, and outcome-driven learning experiences for diverse audiences.
  • Manage project timelines, scope, resources, deliverables, and cross-functional contributors.
  • Enable instructors through delivery guidance, tool setup instructions, troubleshooting resources, and facilitation materials.
  • Analyze learning impact data to improve content, learner outcomes, and program delivery.
  • Develop reusable learning components, templates, activities, assessments, and productized program structures.
  • Adapt programs for enterprise, startup, government, technical, leadership, and global audiences, including localization when needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, curriculum design, or a related field, including significant instructor-led training experience.
  • Experience designing learning programs for enterprise, professional, technical, or workplace audiences.
  • Strong ability to create slides, facilitator guides, activities, assessments, case studies, labs, simulations, and learner resources.
  • Experience managing clients, stakeholders, subject matter experts, instructors, vendors, or cross-functional partners.
  • Knowledge of Bloom’s Taxonomy, ADDIE, experiential learning, practice-based learning, and adult learning principles.
  • Ability to design for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on fluency with current AI tools and experience applying them to learning design and development.
  • Working knowledge of generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, machine learning, AI agents, ethical AI, and enterprise adoption.
  • Experience designing hands-on learning related to AI, emerging technology, data, digital transformation, or technical skills.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms, content management systems, and authoring tools.
  • Willingness to work across time zones, including the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
  • Preferred: proficiency in Python, APIs, TensorFlow, PyTorch, GitHub, cloud labs, virtual machines, or technical learning environments.
  • Preferred: experience creating AI labs, coding exercises, model-building workshops, AI academies, or role-based AI programs.

Benefits

  • Flexible contractor position for a 2- or 3-month term, with approximately 30 hours per week during projects.
  • 100% remote work.
  • Hourly pay of $45–$55 USD for U.S. candidates.
  • Hourly pay of €23–€35 for European candidates.
  • Hourly pay of $15–$25 USD for South Asian candidates.
  • Hourly pay of $20–$38 USD for APAC candidates.
  • Approved operating locations include the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and Singapore.
