Description

  • Design and execute functional, regression, and exploratory tests for web and mobile applications.
  • Identify, log, and track defects in a bug-tracking tool.
  • Collaborate with development, product, design, and DevOps teams to understand requirements and support release testing.
  • Write, maintain, and expand automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end and regression automation test suites.
  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility using cloud testing platforms such as BrowserStack or LambdaTest.
  • Create and execute API tests using tools such as Postman and Newman.
  • Validate API responses, status codes, and error handling through assertions.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, detailed bug reports, reproduction steps, and test summary reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience with deep expertise in testing methodologies and manual testing.
  • 3+ years of experience in automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of manual testing processes, including test case creation and bug reporting.
  • Experience with API testing using Postman, Newman, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python for automation scripting.
  • Understanding of cross-browser and cross-device testing.
  • Experience with cloud testing platforms such as BrowserStack or LambdaTest is preferred.
  • Knowledge of mobile app testing using Appium is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of version control with Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
