Description

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a small team of QA engineers through hands-on guidance and technical coaching.
  • Participate directly in test case design, test execution, and automation development.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain QA processes, best practices, and testing frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and build test plans.
  • Oversee manual and automated testing across multiple projects and platforms.
  • Track quality metrics and KPIs and support regular QA health reporting.
  • Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Manage defect tracking and support timely issue resolution.
  • Guide QA engineers on testing methodologies, tooling selection, and consistent practices.
  • Partner with DevOps to integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a leadership, mentorship, or lead role.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Ability to context switch effectively between feature teams and adapt to changing project needs.
  • Comfort balancing individual contributor work with management responsibilities.
  • Collaborative and adaptable mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills with openness and authenticity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for open source and internet security.
  • Must be located in the United States.
  • No visa sponsorship available at this time.
