Description

  • Support application teams by handling infrastructure requests such as permissions, roles, service setup, and project peering.
  • Own CI/CD and deployment workflows, including maintaining GitHub Actions and helping migrate to a dedicated CD tool.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code by authoring and updating Terraform modules across GCP environments.
  • Manage Kubernetes service deployments with Helm and keep async workloads healthy in Dagster.
  • Consolidate alerting into a unified observability view with dashboards and incident routing.
  • Help move the platform toward region- and cloud-agnostic resilience.
  • Strengthen security controls including IAM, secrets management, least privilege, and auditability.
  • Contribute to SOC 2 readiness and related operational controls.
  • Automate routine infrastructure tasks with AI agents and support agent-assisted operations.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals in at least one production language, such as Python, Go, TypeScript, or Rust.
  • Python is especially valued, with comfort scripting and working in the shell.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and core cloud services, especially GCP; AWS or Azure experience is transferable.
  • Experience operating large-scale Kubernetes production systems.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, especially Terraform.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems, especially GitHub Actions or Octopus Deploy.
  • Ability to debug production issues using logs, metrics, traces, shell tools, and source code.
  • Understanding of security and access-control fundamentals, including IAM, secrets management, least privilege, and auditability.
  • Clear written communication around incidents, design decisions, and operational procedures.
  • Bonus points for SOC 2 support, observability tooling, incident response, Dagster, Helm 3+, high-scale CD tooling, AI/agent-assisted ops, or basic web3/DeFi literacy.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $150,000 to $175,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Additional on-target earnings potential by level.
