Description

  • Own end-to-end cloud architecture decisions across AWS and Azure environments.
  • Lead major infrastructure initiatives independently, including the Microsoft 365 migration.
  • Design and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code at scale using Terraform.
  • Own cross-cloud networking, including routing, peering, endpoints, load balancing, and multi-region connectivity.
  • Set infrastructure patterns and standards that other engineers build against.
  • Mentor Engineer II/III-level staff and serve as a senior technical resource.
  • Support compliance and secure architecture practices for HITRUST, SOC2, and HIPAA.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance, vendor architects, Engineering, and Product leadership.
  • Participate in on-call and incident response for high-priority infrastructure issues.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise infrastructure or platform engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated ownership of cloud architecture decisions, not just implementation.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with both AWS and Azure in a multi-cloud enterprise environment.
  • Experience leading complex technical initiatives end-to-end, such as migrations or multi-account cloud buildouts.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code experience at scale, with Terraform preferred.
  • Ability to mentor less senior engineers and act as a technical escalation point.
  • Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
  • Healthcare, HIPAA, HITRUST, or SOC2 experience strongly preferred.
  • Direct HITRUST or SOC2 audit-support experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Key Vault, Microsoft 365, or Google Workspace administration or migrations preferred.
  • Experience with Sentinel, MDR, or similar SIEM tooling preferred.
  • Background in M&A technical integration, including tenant or directory merges, preferred.
  • DevOps or CI/CD pipeline experience, such as Azure DevOps, preferred.
