Description

  • Originate institutional borrow demand across collateralized lending, trading and hedging strategies, structured credit, and liquidity products.
  • Build and manage the borrower pipeline across unique-market-access counterparties, committed-supply borrowers, and KYC-gated counterparties.
  • Structure, negotiate, and close term sheets covering rate, term, size, and collateral.
  • Coordinate KYC, gating, onboarding, and other closing steps through completion.
  • Maintain originated credit relationships over time, including renewal and expansion.
  • Operationalize and document on-chain borrow products so the process is repeatable as deal volume grows.
  • Manage inbound interest and support execution as more deals are completed.
  • Work cross-functionally with Credit Risk, Strategy & Growth, Product, and Engineering on operational integration.
  • Contribute to credit terms guidance with Credit Risk, including minimum rate and maximum term.
  • Develop reusable playbooks and terms guidance that improve future deal cycles.

Requirements

  • 2–6 years of experience in Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, or Capital Markets at a leading sell-side institution.
  • Sell-side experience is preferred, though exceptional buy-side candidates will be considered.
  • Direct experience with financing transactions, debt raises, warehouse facilities, asset-backed financing, structured credit, or similar capital markets products.
  • Strong grounding in credit and leveraged finance, including collateralization, liquidity, leverage, covenants, counterparty risk, and funding costs.
  • Exposure to transaction execution, including financial analysis, credit assessment, due diligence, term-sheet negotiation, documentation, syndication, and deal closing.
  • Experience managing institutional client relationships across corporates, financial institutions, asset managers, market makers, trading firms, or funds.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curiosity about digital assets, DeFi, and the evolution of institutional finance; prior crypto experience is not required.
  • Comfort operating in an entrepreneurial environment with significant autonomy and responsibility.
  • Existing relationships with funds, market makers, OTC desks, exchanges, asset managers, trading firms, or institutional borrowers is a plus.
  • Experience with repo, securities financing, structured lending, warehouse facilities, fund financing, prime brokerage, or other institutional credit products is a plus.
  • Exposure to private credit, asset-backed finance, specialty finance, or structured products is a plus.
  • Prior experience with digital assets, stablecoins, or on-chain infrastructure is a plus.
  • Ability to work within the contiguous United States or Canada.
