Description

  • Provide advanced technical application support and presentations at customer sites, vendor conferences, webinars, and scientific meetings.
  • Perform BLI analysis of customer samples to evaluate specificity, kinetics, and affinity of biomolecular interactions.
  • Deliver pre-sales and post-sales support through product demonstrations, technical presentations, seminars, training, and customer service.
  • Support joint customer sales visits and help drive customer service initiatives and sales goals.
  • Develop and transfer knowledge through training and support for relevant hardware, software, and new assay development.
  • Contribute to application notes, teaching manuals, and technical documents for new BLI Next Generation systems and label-free solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging technology through research, publications, patents, collaborators, and industry KOLs.
  • Report competitor product information and customer feedback to Sales and Product Management teams.
  • Uphold high standards of excellence across internal processes and external customer engagements.
  • Participate in developing protein-protein interaction assays using the company’s proprietary technologies prior to product launch.

Requirements

  • PhD preferred; MS required with 5 years of experience in label-free technology such as Bio-Layer Interferometry (BLI), Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), or similar instrumentation.
  • Experience developing immunoassays such as ELISA, SPR, BLI, or similar technologies.
  • Expertise in label-free technology products, especially Bio-Layer Interferometry or Surface Plasmon Resonance, preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for working with customers and internal teams.
  • Self-motivated and well organized, with the ability to develop contacts and build rapport at all levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SFDC, or other CRM sales funnel tools.
  • Liquid handler experience with Tecan, Hamilton, or PerkinElmer is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Willingness to work from a remote home-base location and also work on-site as needed.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, carry, and move 50+ lbs, and to stand, walk, sit, and use hands for extended periods.
  • Must pass a health screening.
