Description

  • Set the long-term developer experience vision and roadmap.
  • Work directly with engineers to identify pain points, workflow inefficiencies, and barriers to productivity.
  • Translate developer needs into scalable tooling, automation, and platform features.
  • Lead and mentor the CI/CD engineering team responsible for build, deploy, and release automation.
  • Architect and deliver a touchless deployment platform for rapid, safe, and auditable production releases.
  • Implement release automation, rollback strategies, environment standardization, and compliance guardrails.
  • Ensure developer platforms and supporting infrastructure meet availability, continuity, and disaster recovery requirements.
  • Partner with SRE and infrastructure teams to build resilient, self-healing, observable systems.
  • Own internal developer tools, SDKs, frameworks, and automation.
  • Establish engineering best practices, including documentation and training.
  • Partner with Security to embed secure-by-default patterns into the platform.
  • Partner with Product and leadership to align DevEx priorities and measure productivity impact.
  • Champion the adoption of AI tools to improve team performance and output quality.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of engineering experience, including senior-level ownership of DevEx, Developer Platforms, DevOps, or CI/CD.
  • Demonstrated success leading engineering teams.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Deep experience with AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Mastery of modern CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, FluxCD, or Harness.
  • Strong background in production release automation, deployment safety, rollback strategy, and release governance.
  • Experience in financial services, crypto, or other regulated, high-security environments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to operate across technical and executive audiences.
  • A track record of delivering measurable improvements.
  • Advanced expertise in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
  • Familiarity with observability and telemetry tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog (preferred).
  • Experience building internal platforms or paved-road developer workflows (preferred).
  • Proficiency with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Copilot, and productivity-focused AI tooling (preferred).
  • Experience with artifact management platforms such as JFrog Artifactory (preferred).
  • Proven track record of driving cultural adoption of DevOps, automation, and resilient design (preferred).
