Description

  • Conduct comprehensive SEO audits covering technical, on-page, content, and backlink factors.
  • Perform competitor analysis, keyword research, and historical performance reviews to identify opportunities.
  • Review tracking and analytics setups and use performance data to guide SEO improvements.
  • Optimize on-page elements such as metadata, content, URL structure, images, video, schema, and internal linking.
  • Improve website technical SEO, including speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness, sitemaps, crawl errors, canonical tags, and HTTPS issues.
  • Manage off-page and local SEO efforts, including Google Business Profiles, citations, directory listings, and NAP consistency.
  • Identify link-building opportunities and analyze competitors’ backlink strategies.
  • Use analytics tools to monitor performance, identify toxic backlinks, and track industry and algorithm changes.
  • Prioritize SEO barriers and high-impact actions, then present recommendations aligned to business goals.
  • Create briefs for new content, blogs, and page enhancements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience in an agency or in-house setting.
  • Strong understanding of technical, on-page, off-page, and local SEO.
  • Experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Looker Studio, and similar tools.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into action.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize based on impact.
  • Experience working with clients or cross-functional teams (bonus).
  • Independent contractors must be based in the Philippines and have the right to work there without sponsorship.
  • Freelance or contract availability for remote work.
  • Ability to work with at least 3–4 hours of GMT overlap.
