Description

  • Plan, write, and publish blog content targeting high-value keywords in the Greek life, collegiate, and custom apparel space.
  • Create useful guides, listicles, comparison pieces, and how-to content that matches search intent and earns engagement.
  • Maintain a content calendar around seasonal moments such as recruitment, rush, homecoming, formals, philanthropy events, and graduation.
  • Write in a college-age voice that feels like Fresh Prints rather than corporate or generic.
  • Write and optimize meta titles, meta descriptions, headers, and body copy across the site.
  • Identify internal linking opportunities to improve crawlability and distribute page authority.
  • Coordinate with the Tech team to ensure new content launches are set up correctly for SEO.
  • Develop and execute a backlink strategy targeting Greek life media, college newspapers, campus blogs, lifestyle publications, and higher-ed marketplaces.
  • Write and pitch guest posts, data-driven stories, and resource articles to earn organic placements.
  • Track organic traffic, keyword rankings, backlink growth, and content engagement, and use the data to shape the roadmap.
  • Run content audits to find pages with ranking potential, and consolidate or deprioritize thin content.
  • Develop and refine the framework for measuring content ROI.
  • Create content and strategy for visibility in AI-generated search answers on platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Bing Copilot.
  • Monitor how Fresh Prints is referenced in AI answer engines and iterate based on findings.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in content marketing, SEO writing, or a closely related field.
  • A portfolio of published work showing strong writing quality and search performance.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated understanding of on-page SEO best practices, including keyword research, search intent mapping, header structure, internal linking, and meta optimization.
  • Familiarity with GEO / AI search optimization is a strong plus.
  • Ability to write in multiple formats, including long-form guides, short blog posts, product descriptions, and landing page copy.
  • Comfort working as an individual contributor in a fast-moving, scrappy environment.
  • Availability for meetings, email, and chats approximately 2 PM - 10 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Experience with generative search and LLM visibility is preferred.
