Description

  • Set the venture’s strategy, including ICP definition, pricing model, and product positioning.
  • Choose the initial execution path between consumer returns-led and warranty and credit-led markets.
  • Lead customer development by running pilots with commerce, retail, and supply chain organizations.
  • Convert pilot customers into paid engagements and build the go-to-market motion.
  • Partner with product and engineering to ship the V1 product and iterate based on user feedback.
  • Shape product priorities around intake intelligence, policy enforcement, dynamic routing, and financial closure.
  • Lead the seed fundraising process with support from FutureSight’s network and traction.
  • Recruit, hire, and lead the founding team.
  • Establish the company’s cultural foundation and operating norms.
  • Operate as CEO in a true co-creation model with the studio as a partner.

Requirements

  • Previous founding experience at a venture-backed company.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS go-to-market, including sales and customer engagement.
  • Fundraising fluency and the ability to develop investor narratives and close capital.
  • Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Clear-eyed understanding of the risks and demands of co-founding a venture-backed company.
  • Direct exposure to operations-heavy commerce, supply chain, or logistics environments.
  • Hands-on experience in returns, warranty, fulfillment, or other post-sale workflows.
  • Familiarity with AI agents and LLMs.
  • Experience working in B2B supply chain or commerce settings is strongly relevant.
  • Experience leading from inception as a founder is preferred.
