Description

  • Set the venture’s strategy, including ICP definition, pricing model, and product positioning.
  • Lead customer development with CPA firm managing partners, CAS leads, and outsourced accounting or BPO operators.
  • Convert pilots into paid engagements and build a referral-driven go-to-market motion.
  • Partner with the product and engineering team to ship the V1 product and iterate based on user feedback.
  • Lead the seed fundraising process with support from FutureSight’s network and traction.
  • Recruit, lead, and retain the founding team.
  • Establish the company’s culture and operating foundation from inception.
  • Own the execution of the venture as CEO in partnership with the FutureSight studio.

Requirements

  • Previous founding experience at a venture-backed company.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B AI or B2B SaaS go-to-market.
  • Experience with consultative, relationship-driven sales and customer engagement.
  • Fundraising fluency, including the ability to develop investor narratives and close capital.
  • Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Clear-eyed understanding of the risks and demands of co-founding a venture-backed company.
  • Deep accounting domain expertise.
  • Hands-on experience managing close processes, tax preparation, workpapers, and client accounting services within CPA firms.
